Course Overview

Train Food Safety provides food safety and food handling training for foodservice professionals to attain their Ontario Food Handler Certification

Our classes are held in person at the University of Toronto (St. George Campus).  The classroom setting allows us to provide an interactive experience where students can ask questions and learn from one another.  

This is a one day course followed by a multiple choice exam.  Students who score 70% or higher will be issued their Food Handler Certification on the same day.  The Food Handler Certification is valid for 5 years.

 

1. Food Handler Certification (Class + Exam)

  • One day course (Classes are held every Saturday and Sunday)
  • Trained instructors will lead in-class sessions
  • Classes are from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Registration begins 9:30 AM)
  • Classes are held at 252 Bloor St West (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (O.I.S.E))
  • This course is offered in English only
  • Cost:$80 (Taxes Included)

2. Food Handler Certification (Exam Only)

  • Exams are held every Saturday and Sunday
  • Exams will be held from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Exams are held at 252 Bloor St West (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (O.I.S.E))
  • This course is offered in English only
  • Cost:$35 (Taxes Included)
